Growing up in Montreal, I’ve always heard how amazing McGill is. When I visited for the first time, I knew I wanted to study here. I chose chemistry because I really like being able to shape and manipulate matter on such a small scale. I’ve always found it very cool to be able to make just about anything.
I am the founder of the Undergraduate Chemistry Conference Award. Thanks to donor support of the award, we have been able to send two undergraduate chemistry students to the annual Canadian Society for Chemistry conference where they had the chance to present their research.
Thank you for helping me turn my vision into reality: giving chemistry undergraduates the opportunity to attend a conference during their studies. It’s an incredibly formative and memorable experience that will stay with them for years to come.
