When I think back to my four short years spent at McGill, I get a feeling of nostalgia. I remember riding the train into the city, walking up McGill College Avenue to reach those welcoming Roddick Gates and heading to my first-year English course taught by Dr. James. The McGill Bookstore was on McGill College at the time and I visited regularly!
I recall studying in the downstairs common room in the Arts Building, listening to lectures by Dr. Pugsley and Dr. Armstrong in the Redpath Museum theatre, and going on weekly hikes up McTavish Street to Pine, where my management discussion groups took place.
Also remembered are the many friendships I made at that time through classes, the Phi Kapp fraternity, and the Student Union.
After graduation, I can only attribute any business success which I enjoyed to my time spent at McGill. Many thanks!
At age 87, I have only good memories of great times!
