Adam Gopnik is a bestselling author and long-time staff writer at The New Yorker. His numerous books include A Thousand Small Sanities and At the Strangers’ Gate. Gopnik grew up in Montreal and is a die-hard Canadiens fan. He received an honorary degree from McGill in 2013.
