My three years at McGill were instrumental in teaching me how to be perseverant and push myself outside my comfort zones. Like many young adults, I didn't know which direction my career would take when I entered the Desautels Faculty of Management. Trying the different classes in U1 allowed me to get a better sense of what a career in business could look like. Graduating with a major in Finance and taking a few entrepreneurship classes ended up being a perfect combination for me. I entered the workforce with a strong analytical background and was able to pivot my experience towards the beauty industry where I would end up working for many years before launching my own company.
Today, I am the founder of Minori, a makeup brand based in San Francisco. We have both investors and employees that are McGill alumni. McGill will always be a tremendously valuable network for me and the starting place that made my entrepreneurial journey possible.
