The three of us have always been interested in science. We decided to come to McGill because the programs really allowed us to have flexibility in choosing our courses.
Before we came to McGill, we had to separate physics, chemistry, biology. Working [as research assistants] with the McGill Centre for the Convergence of Health and Economics changed our point of view, where we realized these are not siloed anymore. We worked with professors from the departments of Geography, Management, Psychology, Neuroscience, etc. on different projects that combined all these different fields.
One thing is for sure that your university life really changes the way you think, the things you want to do after you graduate and what you want out of life.
