My undergraduate studies within the Peter Guo-hua Fu School of Architecture continue to largely shape and inform my research areas of my artistic and spatial practice (including the intersection of memory, affect and technology) as well as my teaching pedagogy as an assistant professor at the Ryerson School of Interior Design. Throughout my undergraduate studies, the McGill community within the School of Architecture was incredibly supportive. It was a truly unique experience and hard to come by. This is the kind of care and support that today I try to cultivate amongst my students.
I am continuously incredibly moved by the generosity and support of my mentors and former professors. Their courses and mentorship have largely shaped how I understand spatial experience as well as how architecture can both shape and reflect the world.
