Having grown up in small towns, my immersion into Montreal Sin City prepared me for the big world in a non-threatening environment. My academic career for the first few years suffered as I worked hard to maximize opportunities in learning sins! In the last few years, I hit my stride. I loved my courses and regretted when the four years were up. My time at McGill taught me the splendor of science, the known and unknown. It turbo-charged my curiosity, and made me a sceptic without being a cynic.
