Attending McGill was a natural choice for me as not only did my family have a history of attendance there, but McGill’s outstanding reputation was such that I knew it would provide the best opportunities for the future in Canada, as well as in the US and Europe. Over the years I was proven right as both my brother Brian (BCom’79), and I graduated from McGill and worked extensively in the US throughout our careers. McGill’s sterling reputation has proven itself to be a huge advantage in our professional advancement.
My McGill experience allowed me to develop true local and international friendships that I maintain and cherish to this day.
McGill has rewarded me in so many ways that I can’t help but want to give back. Together with my brother, Brian, and my sister, Catherine – who studied Industrial Relations at McGill and was a member of the Martlets Hockey team in ’83 and ’84 – we have established scholarships and funded teaching awards and conference rooms on an ongoing basis throughout the years. Our hope is that these scholarships for the McGill community will contribute to developing future generations of excellence at McGill.
