I wanted to earn a law degree before continuing my studies in business. Studying at McGill shaped how I think and approach everyday issues and challenges, and the camaraderie amongst students and the quality of the professors and teaching staff was exceptional. Thanks to my McGill legal education, I consider myself a problem-solver.
Although I do not practice law, the education and the training that I received at McGill has helped me throughout my career. Graduating from McGill helped open the door for me to pursue my studies in business at the Harvard Business School.
I joined McGill’s Faculty of Law Advisory Board in 2016 and became chair in 2020. Volunteering at McGill helps build a sense of community around this great institution. I derive a great satisfaction in knowing that our volunteer and fundraising efforts are helping improve the quality of education for current and future students. I have learned so much from working with like-minded volunteers and the excellent team of professionals at McGill.
